Have you ever been at a party before? For most people, going to a party can be a wonderful experience; however, as far as David is concerned, it may be another story.
David was a college freshman. Last Friday night, there was a fantastic costume party taking place in his school. David went to the party without (a) second thought, looking forward to coming across a few pretty young ladies. In fact, he was desperately eager to hang out with girls because all he wanted most now was a true love to keep him company/to be with him. Fortunately, at the party, he met the glamorous dancing queen, Elisa. He fell in love with her on the spot and made up his mind to pursue her. Two days later, in a romantic night, he brought his guitar and came to Elisa’s house to sing her a love song. Under the fascinating moonlight, he touchingly confessed all his heart to Elisa, begging her to be his soul mate. At that time, He still didn’t realize that what awaited him would be a disaster, a nightmare for good.
Because he made a lot of noise, some of Elisa’s neighbors opened their windows, yelling and throwing garbage at him, while others were still confused about what was going on outside.
Eventually, a figure showed up at Elisa’s window. To David’s disappointment, that person was not Elisa but a middle-aged man with curly hair. However, the words the guy told made him more terrified. “Get away, Young man! I am Eric, not Elisa. I am the person you met at the party because I dressed up as a beauty. Now just take your guitar and leave!” It turned out that Elisa was a man! Sad and shocked, David couldn’t but go home with a broken heart. What a poor thing!
